Biography
The law firm's founder, Mr Tolga Topuz, became interested in a career as a lawyer at a young age. While still at school, he completed an internship lasting several weeks at a law firm in his home town of Herne. From then on, Mr Topuz never lost his fascination for the legal profession. Mr Topuz laid the foundations for his legal career at a very early stage. Mr Topuz's commitment to school initially culminated in him graduating at the top of his class in 2014.
After leaving school, his path led him to the Ruhr University Bochum, where he began studying law. During this time, Mr Topuz was also involved in the student council of the law faculty. Mr Topuz passed his first state examination in law with well above average grades. He then began his legal clerkship (Referendariat) at the Regional Court of Bochum, with stages at the NRW tax authorities and at the major international law firm "Luther" in Essen.
In 2022, Mr Topuz passed his second state examination in law with well above-average grades. He then accepted a position at the Düsseldorf-based law firm "Heuking" and was admitted to the Düsseldorf Bar Association.
In 2023, Mr Topuz decided to establish his own law firm in order to advise his own clients independently and freely as an ideal type of lawyer.

2014 – Started studying law at the Ruhr University Bochum
2019/2020 – Passing the first state examination in law
2020 – Commencement of legal traineeship at Bochum District Court, with stages at the tax authorities and the major law firm "Luther".
2022 – Passing the second state examination in law
2022 – Admission as a lawyer by the Düsseldorf Bar Association
2022 – Joined the major law firm „Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek“ in Düsseldorf as an associate lawyer
2023 – Foundation of the law firm Topuz Law in Düsseldorf
